I have a problem with my 88 4runner. The fuel pump is not getting voltage. Ive checked and double checked all the fuses and relays. Is there one that Im not finding? Or im I just an idiot? Please let me know

Oh ya. I have checked just about every connection in the entire truck. I followed the wires back and there is a blue one w/ a red dot, and a white one with a black dot. I followed those wires up though the floor board and into the side panel on the passenger side. The wires go through a connector and stay the same color on the other side. Then the loom goes up into the dash somewhere behind the glove compartment. And thats where I stoped. So do you know of any relays that might be up in the area I describe. Or an inertia swithch is what some people have told me to look for. Well any ways let me know. thanks

Yes I have checked all the wires for continuity, atleast the ones that I can get to. Ive narrowed the wires down to a plug on the passenger side. There is a plug on the fuel pump side or the wire and the opening circut relay. I know its the relay because its labled. Im told that the Air flow meter controls opening circuit whats that all about? We messed with it when we were cranking the engine and everything but nothing. How would I test that to see if it was operating correctly? Next thing Im gonna do is take the dash apart and see if there is any connectors up there t check. The ignition switch seems to be acting fine There is only one wire that gives juice when the key is in the "on" position. So Im gonna try to follow that back n see where it goes. But other than that Im a lost. let me know what ou think.
