4runner going through 18"-24" of snow

My 91 4runner with 359K was out driving today in some deep snow and did GREAT!! I love this truck!!

I bought my first 4runner ('91) in November, was out in 16" of snow yesterday (blizzard, southeast Kansas) for about three hours, ripping up some drifts with a buddy. Sorry, no video, no pics. But man am I impressed with this machine. Went through anything I pointed it at. Go 'Yota! Oh yeah, we pulled out a few vehicles, including a big old lugging Ford Expedition (in reverse). Yee Haw!
Vehicle is pretty stock, new 235R15 Cooper Discoverer H/T tires, rebuilt the front end, new exhaust, a few other tweaks, but stock. Still a real trooper in really crappy conditions.

I tried to ford a 200 foot long 4 foot snow drift in the middle of the road and lost.

Took the tow truck driver his 100 foot winch, and another 10 foot extender chain to pull me out... Of the middle of the road.


It was fun!

i cant wait to get home and play in the snow with the runner im stuck in las vegas casue of the blizzard! this might be the first time i use 4x4 this winter lol sad.
