get leaf springs in the rear, i dont think anyone else on here has done that... i would like to know how the ride is and if you can load more in the rear and have less squatting...

You guys cant be serious!! You should really pay attention more to what fits your appliction and what doesn't. Do yourself a favor, and just call them and ask what fits your 4Runner before you end up ordering the wrong lift (it has happened on here before).

yes doing a lift right can cost upwards to 1200 bucks well unless ur cheap and go with spacers :nono:

3rd Gen 4Runners don't have leafs, they have coil springs. Older model 4Runners like the 1st Gen had leafs, and could utilize the add a leaf kit. Also, the last link you posted for the coil spring kit is for the FJ Cruiser or 2003 and up 4Runner, it won't work for your application.

if your just looking to go simple and with toyec just go with the 3" inch front spacers and rear coils. get the kit with the diff drop. the whole kit is around$330. but before you go out and buy a lift its helpful to know what you plan to do with the truck after its lifted. a spacer kit is cheap and effective if you dont go wheeling alot and just want the look. but you may want to consider a more "flexable" strut and coil lift if you go more hard core wheelin. i dont do a lot of wheelin but go out on the beaches and sand pits so i just wanted the height to fit 285/s under and a better look. something to think about before you buy a lift.

so since you posted this in the 3rd gen section, i'm gonna assume thats what you have. so how about we go to the 3rd gen section of Toytec?...or would that make too much sense... :bash:

i would recommend the Ultimate Lift Kit if you want tp do it right or the 3" Kit w/spacers, rear OME coils, & diff-drop kit like blkrunner said if you don't want to spend a whole lot

IMO Sonoran Steel makes the best lifts for the 3rd gen..but they are around $1300

i know that our trucks dont have leafs, but i thought you could swap the rear coils for leafs with some modifications.... that last link is 3 inch coils for our truck. youre reading the hyperlink above it that will bring you to the FJ lift...
