4runner limited silver

anyone know why the 99+ 4runner limited in silver is all one-tone in silver. like the black has the gold on the bottom, so does the white and red, but silver looks a little plain in my opinion. Ive got the black 2 tone now, found the perfect 4runner but its all silver so im debating that in my mind, opinions on that color??

Silver hides quite a bit as far as minor scratches, and dirt etc. As for no two tone, whatever color they put it with would have been known as the accent color since silver isn't that vibrant. At least in my opinion.

Silver does hide dirt pretty well. I'm not a big fan of silver although two of my cars are silver but its a very nice neutral color. Most people try to get rid of the two tone look so having a silver limited would save some cost on that if you don't like the contrast in coloring.

I wish they kept the Limiteds one color. The all silver and all IJM Limiteds look awesome compared to the two tone.

You guys are making me :crybaby: I love/enjoy my DDM. I think the 2 tone limited does make use and shows off the body cladding really well vs the one color/monotone.
