4Runner or LX470?

Hi everyone,

I'm pretty new here only posted once before, however I'm not new to forums.

I'm trying to decide on either:

a local one owner Black 2005 4Runner Limited V8 (grey interior) with 180,00kms (about 112,000 miles) with everything except nav and no third row seats (heated seats, sunroof, jbl, rear air suspension, and dvd screens in headrests with wireless headphones) with brand new bridgestone dueler h/t tires and brand new brakes being installed.

The only downside is the previous owner had a large dog so its got a fair number of scuffs on the plastic in the cargo area. It's for sale at a local Lexus Dealer as a trade in on a new GX460.

or a 2 owner 2001 mystic sea opalescent (grey with a hint of green) Lexus LX470 (Tan interior) with 110,000km's (roughly 68,000 miles) with everything but nav (mark levinson, sunroof, upgraded wheels). Has fairly new Michelin LTX M/S tires (I had these on a Ford Explorer a few years back and did not like them).

This one is for sale at a used car dealer with no Lexus or Toyota affiliation. It does have lower miles but is almost twice as old.

Which is a better buy?
Both are roughly the same price, save for a few hundred $. I plan to keep which ever vehicle I choose for years to come. I am getting married in October and this will be our only vehicle since our condo only allots one parking space per unit.

I'd take the T4R over the LX any day. I've had two 100 series cruisers ('98 LC and a '00 LX) and two 120 series (03 4R and 07 FJ) and overall the 4Runner just drives better and seems more put together to me. Unless you need the extra space you will be waisting your time and money on the hundy IMHO. Gas mileage is atrocious as well. Also, look up the AHC problems on the LX, it's very expensive to replace and only time before it takes a dump...mine was starting to go at 130k.

edit: or get a GX and have the best of both worlds (Lex and 4R)
