4Runner Rock Warrior wheels

Now that these wheels are available in a six lug pattern for our 4Runners, how would these look on a Blizzard Pearl 5th gen? Anybody have them or have better Photoshop skills than I?

I'd love to throw those on my SR5... but for the right price. Any opinions on how they'd look on a Mag Grey SR5?

Not knocking SeattleMike, but those rims are still not listed on either the TRD website or catalog as being available in a 6 lug pattern. Could it be that the "install kit" at $185 changes the lug pattern on the hub?

Okki

The TRD wheel comes as a 6 bolt pattern lug for the 4Runner, per my conversation with a person at Toyota TRD this morniing.

I'm glad about that because I REALLY like those rims as well. although now I'm curious what the TRD guy said about the "install kit". I would assume that the TPMS sensors can simply be swapped from the set of rim currently on the car?

I guess now I need to start saving up $1600 + tire cost .... :hungry:

Called TRD again. From what they can tell, the TPMS sensors are in the kit, so I would assume that I would not need the install kit if I was pulling them off my wheels. :biggrin2:

Not questioning anyone's credibility, but are we sure that these are offered? If somebody at TRD is talking prior to including the rims on the Accessory Page, it seems kind of fishy.

Months ago I had my dealer look into them, she did a lot of digging and actually found the legit part number for them and price. She said they were not released and it would be a while still. I posted the part number in a thread about these a while back (too lazy to hunt for that thread now), she confirmed they were the 6 lug and proper size for our gen. They were shown on the accessory page for a while, but the 5 lug photo. Just like the photo of the running boards do not match up either.

Might want to double check that the TMPS from your stock rims will fit the TRD rims. The latter looks to have a very flat lip. For what I've read elsewhere, flat lip rims may need a special/different TMPS profile than canted lip rims.

That's a good idea.

I still want these wheels, but they need to be ordered by the dealer with payment up front. If I don't like them, will they refund me? Anyone know the answer to this?

Spotted

Spotted these today in Wheeling WV on a TX Pro Tacoma. There is a set for sell on Ebay for 1400. They look slightly different than the original pic, shorter spokes maybe.

Those are 16" TRD wheels. They also came in bronze.
