Well i was on the edge as to satoshi or not and after viewing several nice looking TOYOTA ones i decided to add my own spin, what do you guys think?

it is not quite as neat and tidy as i was hoping but i think the next one will be perfect :)

Do you have any more pics? It looks like your mesh is over lapping the grill outline itself on the lower left. How did you mount your mesh on the inside, happen to have some pictures of that?

Its a really job and I hate to say this but its best you know...

Satoshi refers to a very specific mod using the TOYOTA logo from an FJ. See Yotatech.

That is not a satoshi mod it is just a really awesome grill mod.

Good job though, it looks nice.
 
Here I thought the satoshi mod was modding the grill and not the emblems. Lol. Looks like ill just buy an emblem and rig it to the stock grill and emblem location. Lol

Look everyone .... I don't think that the Satoshi mod is the "best grill mod" or anything like that but I figured you-all should at least know what is and is not a Satoshi mod lol.

Satoshi mod refers specifically to the TOYOTA logo, it was first done by a Yotatech user named Satoshi like 5+ years ago.

Anyways "grill mod" doesn't sound as cool so now all these T4R peeps keep calling every grill mod Satoshi which then confused noobs who don't know the difference.

o.0 I never knew Satoshi was only meant for the LC TOYOTA logo, IIRC satoshi meant grill mod with any logo put on replacing the stock grill.. :thumb:

This is what i thought too.

I thought is was supposed to be retro looking .
 
I've always thought it was funny how that article tells his whole life story.

I can see his tombstone a couple decades from now....

What really bugs me about all the awesome GRILL mods is how everyone mis-spells the word GRILLE!!
