4Runner Skid Plate

I really don't like the look of the stock skid plate so I was thinking about putting the Tacoma skid plate on. Am I correct in thinking that the Tacoma skid plate will be a direct bolt on for my '98?

I looked on Ebay and didn't see a chrome skid plate. They did come in chrome didn't they?

Anybody have a write up for this? I think it just a matter of scewing in a few bolts.

You will have to fabricate your brackets to make it fit.

brackets from toyota shouldd fit, i had to makee an extension for my 2000 though

'98 bumpers are a direct fit using the Tacoma brackets;it's the '99+ that need extensions.

No,it never came in chrome just aluminum silver.

Ok. So I will have to order through a dealership? How much does it cost with the bracket?

Anybody have a writeup?
