Hi,

I wanted to know if anyone knows if my local dealer is blowing some serious smoke at me. They are claiming that the Navigation system is only available on the Limited 4WD here in the southeast...They're also telling me that if I wanted to order, I wouldn't see my new 4Runner until the end of May...

I'm in New England, nav is available in V8 SE and V8 LTD's, so there are certainly regional variations in model options.

Goto the Toyota website and plug in your zip code to build and price the truck with the options you want.

When I bought my truck, V8 SE's were not available in New England with the JBL stereo. However, the dealer I bought from had one originally allocated to a dealer in NJ and was equipped for their region with the JBL.

I'm pretty sure that your dealer will choose to blow smoke rather than go the extra mile to locate the truck you want.

All the options I want are available on the build your own pages, except that the dealers don't seem to want to "work" on it too much, or they want to get rid of the Limited 4x4 they have coming in...we don't really need 4WD here in Florida...
