4Runner Trail Edition Height without Rails

Hi all, couldn't find the info through search, so starting this thread.

What is the height of the 4runner without its stock roof rails? 71.5 (to roof) or 71.5+ (because of the additional roof rails)
- I can't find anywhere whether the 71.5 includes the roof rails or not.
- Part of me is assuming 71.5 does not include the factory rails (since it says body height) but I've been burned too many times assuming things.

I'm asking because I'm doing my build and I need to clear under 6'7" after all my parts.

I just measured and looks like 71.5 would be at the body (roof). Let it be known I do have billies set to .85 up front with stock in the back. 265-70-17 Blizzaks. I measured toward the back where I believe the extra height is probably close to nil. The top of my rails are like 76" keeping in mind that this is a '10 TE and the rails are probably 2" higher than the '14-present TE's. The other stock '15 TEP in the fleet is currently on the road so... Hope this helps.

Sure helps. Wow thanks for taking the time to measure. Wow that doesnt leave me much space til i hit 79 inches.

The other thing to consider, is that after removing the roof rack, there is still the shark fin of the XM antenna. This sticks up around 2 inches or so.

I personally took the rack off of my Pro and I like the look.
