in 96 there was 3 different versions of 4runners, 4runner, sr5 ,limited. what was the difference and what does sr5 mean :bash::gun6::rtfm:

Throttle Body and MAF Sensor

Throttle Body and MAF Sensor, are these cleaned when you add injecter cleaner to the gas tank? I saw something on amazon called 3M 08963 Fuel System Tune-Up Kit, would this do the whole job better than just fuel injector cleaner added to the tank? :trophy:

This doesn't only go into the gas tank.
Anything you put in the gas tank, will have no effect at cleaning the throttle body or MAF, since those two things have to do with intake.

That kit does provide stuff to both go in the gas tank, and clean out the throttle body. Feel free to give it a shot, just read the instructions carefully.
