I have wreaked my 97 4runner but it is able to be fixed. I just need some parts but cant find them anywhere. I don't get how any parts are not at any junkyards or online. I found parts online but they want 80$ for an engine fan and stupid stuff like that. Can someone help me where to find parts for my 4runner. I don't know all the parts for the engine that i need but I need a radiator, hood, bumper, grill, fan. I hit a pole with mine right in the middle. just need help getting parts cause it doesn't make any sense these things should be wreaked all over the place.
If anyone knows anything please tell me. I need to get this thing fixed. I cant buy a new car i have to get this 1 fixed.

I am going to post pics here very soon. i dont know much about this kinda of stuff so i need sum help. I will take pictures of the engine.

Lots of 3rd gen Runners here in metro Denver-several 97 part outs listed in Yota Tech for example-see "Marketplace"

List of Parts

My friend is good with cars but some things he does not know what they are. so stay with me. if anything needs cleared up i will be glad to

Radiator
Cone for intake (easy enough for myself to get)
Pully on water pump
Belts (local NAPA)
Left headlight bucket (i dont know how to say it but i know where its at)
Front bulk head plate that everything bolts to
Tranny cooler
Hood
Windshield
Dip stick (easy enough for me)
Bumper
Grill
AC Condenser
Fan
Fan Shroud
Fan clutch
Airbags

Thats it except maybe 1 other part that has to do with getting the AC to work. I will check on that later on

You are not far from one of the great concentration of junkyards on the planet. Check out these guys in Hazelton PA. There are lots of other yards in that area. I know, because there are almost none in NJ and that where I have to go from time to time.You can also look for specific parts here. Specify East or West PA to find them nearby.

To nail down some more specific parts where the name is not obvious, we need the specifics of the vehicle, year, trim, engine, 2 or 4wd. You need to be specific about what you need. There are a lot of pieces that make up a bumper, for example. If you really can't identify a part name, my suggestion is to take a picture and post it with the vehicle details and I'm pretty sure you will get a lot of help. A vague description won't work nearly so well.

I suggest you look for the fan, say, on the Hollander site and get the names and phone numbers of a few places near you that have them. (I looked, there are a lot of fans in PA, although you did not tell us what engine you have). Look up all your parts to get an idea of the market price. Then call a few places and tell them what you need. That should get you started.

You typically have two radiators, the front one is for the AC, the 2nd one is for the engine with the bottom section of it used for the tranny cooler. So you may as well be buying an aftermarket radiator since buying a used one is going to set you up for a common failure where the tranny fluid leaks into the engine coolant and can destroy your transmission.

Valid point on the rad. The fact that the OP lists 'tranny cooler' separately leads one to wonder if a PO had bypassed the stock cooler in the rad. If the OP is looking for an external tranny cooler, he needs to know that is not a stock part but an aftermarket add-on. Stock it is indeed just part of the radiator for the auto trans models.

Clarification: The 'front A/C radiator' is what the OP correctly calls the A/C condenser.

Yea well mine runs. i drove it for like 10 seconds to back it up. It leaks Tranny fluid so idk wat part it is. My friend just said tranny cooler. idk im not good at car parts. Thanks for all the help still looking for parts

Even if it is an external tranny cooler, it's busted, and a replacement stock radiator is probably the simplest solution.
 
Also don't forget to use an interchange guide. Many parts are shared among different models so if you know that say your radiator is the same radiator as a Tacoma you greatly expand your source of parts.
