I went up Poughkeepsie Gulch today and did NOT take the bypass around the main trail. It was a great. I attempted The Wall 3 times, but just couldn't get my tires not to spin due to the water at the base. I didn't want to be winched up. It just didn't seem right to me. Went around The Wall and continued the trail over to Hurricane Pass and then on down Corkscrew Gulch. Poughkeepsie is now my favorite trail up here in Ouray. I feel like I've actually been off-roading after doing it.

Spent last week on a trip through Helen, Ga to Asheville, NC. Wheeled up Tray mountain while in GA and also decided to stop in at Gorges State Park along the way to Asheville. Unfortunately the bridge in Gorges was closed for maintenance but it was a easy/fun down & back trail anyway.

Specifically, the formation in the distance are Fisher Towers Recreation Area..
