Sorry I don't have many pre-lift pics. However when I got her, the truck had sat for 2 years without being driven or even cranked... I removed running boards, and recently did some trim now. I have a 4inch suspension lift, w/ 33x12.50x15 wheels.

I'd like to run a set of 35s but I hear you run into all new problems w/ 35s lol.

She overheated on me a few weeks ago, Temp guage was full red, my radiator was leaking. Since replacing w/ the new radiator she actually runs a little on the cool side, this may be a problem when winter gets here (in Texas) but it still gets cold. I have a new thermostat but before the overheating issue, I had just done a major overhaul, t-belt, waterpump, thermorstat, tensioner etc.

I've ordered some new taillights, foglights, and some interior trim pieces as well. I just got the sunroof working within the last week.

Both driverside doors need new regulators and window motors.

But I loosened the regulators and I can lower and raise the window by hand. I think in the spring I will get doors like FOGs and just say F it lol.

5.29's are what you want to run with 35's. The biggest problem is going to be CV shafts, because of the severe angles the lift puts them in--when under power on the trail, they're very vulnerable. Power-wise you'll be fine once regeared. Step back a bit on your next pics, so we can see the whole truck--what you're showing looks pretty good!

Thank you Bob. I'm going wheeling next week, I'll take some better pics lol. :)

Thanks again for the info.

I'm running 35x12.5x15 on an IFS setup. I did a 4" bracket lift from rough country. It's a good lift because it also has a 3 or 4" diff drop kit. This basically eliminates ALL cv angle while driving normal on the road. But, once on the trail the CV angle is all relative to the flex of the front suspension. I have beat the heck out of my 4runner on the trail and put it through the ringers and haven't broken anything yet.

I re-geared to 4.88's front and rear and I like that setup with the 35's. I would have liked to go to 5.29 but I would be at about 3500rpm or so on the freeway at 70mph in 5th gear. Right now with my current configuration I get around town just fine and can maintain 75-80 on the freeway without too much of an issue as long as I'm not going up a hill. As soon as I hit a hill I'll slow down to about 70.

Nice looking truck! That front bumper would probably be fine if you lowered it 3-4" A few hours with a grinder, welder and a spray bomb and you'd be set. Good fun, too. :)

Thanks buddy, I'm going to yank it all off in the spring when I get ARB bumpers, and I'm going to send it to Kid_V cause he loves it so much. Probably mount it above his fireplace
