Looks great 4RunninMD! I always loved the looks of the original '03 Sports in silver with the cladding - it was the exact color and model featured in the original 4th gen ads where it was up on some glacier lava mountain thing - I loved those pics when the 4th gen first came out . BTW, I think I have the exact same Pioneer as you - looks and sounds awesome!

Today I decided I should check my spare and make sure it lowers and raises without a problem. Also to make sure it had air in it just in case. It has a brand new matching size tire but different brand and was also mounted with the face of the wheel pointing down witch is wrong. And the tire is also flat. Also checked on the rust underneath. I dont think its too bad but it does need to be takin care of once it warms up a bit more. Saturday I will be installing my Bilsteins and rear spacers.

Also I stumbled on a picture of a tube bumper I really like. Im not a welder by any means but can weld. Im going to fab something up along the lines of this

Installed my lift yesterday. Bilstein 5100 Front at 2.5" and 2"rear ebay carbon steel bolt on spacer. I have 1/4 toytec spacers for the front but wasnt sure if i wanted to use them. Started around 12pm and finished up around 830-9pm. Did it in my driveway by myself with basic hand tools, a spring compressor and my 1/2 impact from HF. The reason it took me so long was the figuring out part. Figure out how to do it on one side and then the opposite side took half the time. But all in all not very hard to do. Im extremely pleased at the outcome.

Also got lucky and found this slow leak in my trans cooler hard lines:

Rusted bad.
Luckily Russel Toyota had one in stock and I went and picked it up. Should be fixed in a day or two when i have a chance.

Ordered this from Home Depot last week and got it on Friday. Finally had a chance to mess with it tonight. Im no welder. Was never taught so i figured I'd learn through you tube and trial an error. Used a piece if solid kindorf from my works shop to see what i could do.

My 3rd bead with a but joint. I dunno what good is so ill let whoever see's it decide. This was the last side of the 3 sided kindorf. Other two sides was me figuring out wire speed and heat setting.

Cant wait to try it was some gas.
