Toyota 4Runner 4th-Gen Paint & Chassis Codes + Brochures



Here is the chart of color for the US-Spec 4Runner from 2003-2009. If you see an error please post it here and I will correct the page and graphic ASAP. You can upload a photo of your car by clicking on the graphic, then clicking on the appropriate camera icon next to your color.

If you need me to update the chart please post your model year (or production date), color code and a description or photo of your car. For now this is for US-Spec cars only, I will add other countries in the future.

That's a cool idea. Looks like my pictures are already uploaded.

I'm pretty sure Impulse Red and Imperial Jade Mica were only offered in '03, but everything else looks right. Nice job!

I agree -- I believe the red and dark green colors were discontinued when color-keyed cladding was added to the SR5 and Sport Edition in the spring of 2003.

Also, I don't remember Blizzard Pearl being available in '03. I think it was available on the '02 Limited. It wasn't until the spring of '03 that Natural White was made available across the board (previous n/a on the Sport and Limited).

Other than that, looks good.
 
I just uploaded a pic of my Titanium 4Runner. If I can get a few pictures of the other Toyota/Lexus vehicles in my family, I will upload them as well.

Just a note, 2008 colors were added to the chart and I have also just added the brochures from 2003-2008.

Could someone give me a yell when the 2009 colors are released, or whenever someone comes across the new 2009 brochure? Thanks!

Pacific Blue was not offered in 2006. There are only eight colors for 2006. The two shades of blue (Stratosphere and Pacific) from 2005 were replaced by Nautical Blue for 2006.

Thats strange that I had Pacific on there for 2006... I'm not sure why I did that. Nothing I can find says that it was a color that year, I'm thinking I just goofed when I made the chart. Thanks for the heads up and I have fixed it. :)

My records show that it wasn't available until 2006. I could be wrong, but I need you to check the production label in your driver's door jamb for me. Tell me the build date of your 4Runner, and then paint code, which is the first three characters after 'C/TR' on the label. Thanks!
 
I realize this is an old thread but does anybody know if you can get a V8 4th gen 4Runner in black with the hood scoop? I'm assuming that's a 'Limited' package? Haven't been able to find anything about them
