Have the engines V6 and V8 stayed the same in each 4th Gen year?

As in has there been any re-tuning or power increase from 03-07??

V6 remains the same from '03-'07. The numbers were changed around due to the new SAE rating system, but the engine is identical. The '05+ V6's have a 5-speed transmission vs. 4-speed on '03-'04.

V8 got a power upgrade in 2005 with added VVT-i variable valve timing. It got bumped up from 235hp & 320lb-ft torque to 270hp & 330lb-ft torque. (re-rated at 260hp and 306lb-ft torque with the new SAE standards in 2006).

V6 has stayed the same from 03-07 245 HP.

I beleive it was the EPA that changed the way HP is measured and so the V6 and V8 HP was revised to read lower than previous years. No power loss was actually realized, just on paper however

V8 for 03-04 stayed the same

V8 for 05-07 got the VVTI heads which increased HP slightly and increased max RPM from 5000 to 5500
