4th gen 4runner fj e-locker retrofit

Not sure if this has been done before, but i was wondering if anybody has thrown a e-locker from a fj (2007 and up) into a 2wd 4th gen 4runner (mine is a 2003 2wd sr5). i found a page where someone did a swap in a 2007 4runner http://www.rocksolidtoys.com/forum/showthread.php?t=323

he shows how to install it into the diff housing, but i was wondering if anybody knows if i can run a switch to the motor/acuator instead of installing all the wiring, computer, ect.

here is the wiring diagram for the actuator, and i was thinking about bypassing the computer. the only thing that i was wondering about was the limit sw. what is the purpose of this, and can i run the actuator and not the limit switch.

Bumping an old thread instead of creating a new one. There is a 2007 V6 sport t4r and a elocker from 2012 FJ (just the 3rd member, nothing else) on Craigslist.

I was thinking of installing it into the rear diff but I can't perform something like that myself so would be looking into outsourcing a mechanic shop. Has anybody did that before? Is it an easy fit? How about the wiring? So many questions and I hope to find some answers here haha thanks
