Does the 4th gen runner have a separate booster/master or is it the same one on the 100 series? Reason I ask is the one for the 100 series has an integrated electric pump that acts as an internal booster. Upside is, if you turn off the engine, you still have some kind of braking power. Downside is, if you have to replace the pump, it's $900 for the pump alone, $1400 (discounted) for the master/pump assembly.
I know the JDM 4th gen Surfs have what looks like an 80 series master/classic booster, and they're also running 4-wheel discs, but their engines are the 3.4L V6, 3L V6, or 3L TD, no 4L V6. It would seem that in the long run, the traditional master would be a lot cheaper to replace (by a factor of 10x!!) than the master w/ electric pump.
