OK guys, maybe I've overlooked something but I've been trying to find a 4th gen buyers guide like the 3rd gen buyers guide but can't seem to find one. I orginally wanted a 3rd gen but decided the 4th gen was the best bet for me. The interior on the 3rd gen is a little dated, unlike the 4th gen, which I liked better. It will be primarily a daily driver with mild to moderate off-road action.
~Can you guys tell me any off-road advantages between the years ('03-'06), which are in my price range?
~Any major options or std equip between those years?
I used to have a '02 Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 which I loved because it was a very capable 4x4 and then sold it and ended up with a '06 F150 Lariat and regret that move. I'd like a more modern vehicle, which is why I chose the 4th gen, so if you guys can give me some advice, along with red flags I should look for I would surely appreciate that.
