is it just me or is the cup holder in a 2005 just the worst design ever invented. doesn't matter if i put a coffee, regular drink, or a water bottle. that darn thing doesn't hold. anyone else have this problem? is there anything else i could do so my coffee doesn't spill all over.

Doesn't it have the adjustable piece on it that allows for very big to very small? When I adjust mine to the middle notch it is perfect for cans, water bottle, or a coffee cup.

Actually the worst ever cup holder would have to be in my 02 VW GTI, drinks go all over the radio and if you want to change the radio, volume etc you have to take the drinks out, so much for german engineering.
