I've done a little research but I plan to do more in the future. Right now without testing there is no way of me knowing if the heated functions would work. I am almost positive that the clock spring would require modifications

Multiple customer from Ian here. Super pleased with his customer service, and obviously a guy who really cares about his products.
Here's a mini review, 'enhancements', and lessons learned.
I did the reverse kit and steering wheel.
For the reverse kit, I ended up buying 2 because I didn't follow Ian's directions very carefully. I almost just let my errors ride, but I'm really glad I didn't, because it's AWESOME when done correctly.
The directions I didn't follow closely were, be careful with the razor, it is indeed sharp, and it does indeed cut. I also didn't take my time with the install of the cover, and it ended up crooked and with air bubbles.
2nd time around I ended up using a plastic handle for the razor blade, way easier on my fingers, safer, and more efficient. I also used a little piece of scotch tape on each end of the polarized film to help me line it up this time. I did end up with 1 tiny air bubble, but I'm good with it, and it looks great.
I also cut the 12v wire and crimped on a male and female connector. This allows me to connect and disconnect my console whenever I want...which is quite frequently with all the stuff I do in my ride.
Here's a pic of the first install. You can see some hotspots. When I took the pic. I was actually going to comment that I don't notice the hotspots in person, just on the pic. But when I misaligned the film the first time, there was sliver of led screen exposed. Nothing I could see on the console. But, I now think the light bleed over was responsible, because my new film covers everything and looks great.
Steering wheel install here. Plastidipped emblem black.
The cost really scared me here. I was able to pick up an airbag luckily on offer up for about 300. Not much you can do here, these are pretty expensive wherever you go. The steering wheels on ebay were about 250-300. That was too rich for me. I ended up looking on car-part.com and saw them for significantly cheaper. I found a 2016 trail steering wheel for 65 dollars. I had to get it shipped, but it was only 15 to ship.
I tried to do this myself, because I like doing things myself, but I had to turn to ian. Just save yourself the hassle, if you do this mod, send him your controls. It would probably be a good time to change the color of the LEDs as well to whatever you want.
