4th gen deck to 3rd

Hey guys, I tired searching for this but to no avail. Will a stock 4th gen headunit bolt and plug right in to my 1998 limited? Thanks!

look up in the stiky, its the first one, the scion unit, if the plugs are the same it should work.

Bump this back up, got the deck from a non jbl 4th gen. It bolts right in but the connector from my stock deck doesn't plug into it. What gives!?

My 2000 limited had a factory amp with the cd player. One harness plugged into the amp, then another harness ran from the amp to the head unit. You might see if the harness that goes into the amp is the one you need.

Yes, you are more than likely going to need to plug it into the wiring harness before the amp
