4th gen "decorative" skid plate

Will the 4th gen skid plate that looks like the 3rd gen Sport Edition skid plate fit an 02? Is it the same part? Thanks in advance.

No replies usually means no one knows. Chances are it will not bolt up correctly. You can try to bend the tabs and drill new holes to the correct mounting points. No it isn't the same part. Welcome to the forums.

I wasn't being sarcastic. I said it was busy because of the number of new posts/threads that occurred after my original post that mine got pushed way down.

I like the way it looks and I don't off-road my 4Runner at all so no need for a true skid plate. It's basically a third vehicle that I don't mind leaving at the airport lots each week not a rock climber.
