Yes, but that's assuming the rear sway bar is limiting the suspension travel of the rear axle. I put extended links on my rear axle after lifting it, currently my tire gets almost completely wedged in the wheel well under flex (the bump stops thankfully prevent the 33" from ripping out too much of the inner fender/door) so my sway bar isn't limiting travel anymore.
Keep in mind our axle is solid in the rear so its only going to flex like a bar, where as the front is independent. Typically on most 3" lifts it seems extended rear sway bar links do a good job of not binding up the axle.
