4th gen (?) Fortuner in Philippines

In the Philippines, they call the 4Runner the Fortuner. Here’s one I saw the other day. The Fortuner is very popular in the Philippines.

I looked into both - the Fortuner has a third 'row' of fold out seats and a few other differences. I didn't need or want the seats so I choose the 4Runner (Hilux Surf)

Here you can get a 4runner with a 3rd row too.

I don't own a 4Runner though, (AKAIK it's LHD only so not sold in Japan either) although we both know it's near enough the same as my Hilux Surf, seems they are not identical, as you say. I never saw a Hilux Surf with the third row, but the Fortuners did.
