4th gen front seat clicking sound.

I have a 2004 SE with side air bags. Sometimes, for the first few minutes after start-up, there is a clicking noise coming from somewhere near the location of the seat side air bag. For a couple months it was coming from the passenger seat. Now it comes from the driver seat. The clicking sound sounds electrical to me, with a faster clicking when moving forward and a much slower clicking when stopped.

It is not really bothering me because it is only on occasion that this happens, and then it goes away after a couple minutes.

Any thoughts as to what this is?

Actually, I've noticed a clicking that sounds like relays also...I haven't investigated it enough to determine where it's coming from, but I do notice it when I hit a bump...I'll have to take a look.

But from what you describe, we have different clicks (cliques? ). Yours sounds like it's somehow influenced by the rpm of the engine or by the bumps...I can't think of anything in that area that could be influenced by rpm... ??
