4th Gen Headlight Removal DYI?

Hi,

I'm new to this forum, but not to forums. I did the search under 4th Gen and can't find any DYI information. I have a 2005 4Runner V8 Limited and just purchased both OEM Toyota headlights. I looked around to see if I could find a thread with pictures on how to replace, but couldn't find any. I don't want to break any tabs on the old ones, because I want to try to sell them. Any links would be greatly appreciated.

This is the one I used to black out my headlights...

The last screw underneath the headlight is a pain in the ass to get out. Just be patient and don't worry about replacing it when you put your new headlights in. Hope this helps.

I replaced my driver's side headlight casing. This thread is spot on and it literally only takes about 20 minutes (simply because the bottom bolt is a pain in the asssk)

Did this Mod last night. With the amount of fender well I had to cut out to stop the rubbing getting to the 4th bolt was easy both out and in.
