I've been watching too and yes, it's very cool. I love the fact he's working to preserve the ABS etc. To 'hack' in a SAS is easy to envision, doing it right (as he's doing) is awesome :bigok:

I saw a while back that a few FJ Cruiser had this done...i wonder if they are using the same parts as this guy.

Very cool. To be honest, i don't have enough courage (aka balls) to do a project like this on my own vehicle...too many variables (risks) and too darn expensive.

I can't wait to hear how this turns out!!! When enough SAS's on the 4th gens are done, I'll do the same thing. Maybe once I get to 100k I'll give it a go! By then hopefully all these little issues will be worked out with the electronics. I would love to see this such that ATRAC, ABS, and VSC still work. Then when you turn on a front locker you can still have ABS but with ATRAC and VSC off. I think I'm drooling!
