4th Gen - How many miles?

~15,000 miles in 7 months; used as a secondary vehicle otherwise I would have about 30,000 miles by now.

Purchased 04 May 04 which would make it 8 months old yesterday and I haven't even had an oil change yet. Every time I plan to take it in for oil change and TSB bulletin corrections........it freaking rains! I don't take the SUV cover off in the rain....sorry it must be one year old before I'll allow this So. Calif smog rain to settle onto it.

I am the opposite of that... I work 60 miles from home and use the beater but I will start working from home part time come Feb so then the mileage will defintely be kept down.

Didn't you meant to say that you purchased your runner in Nov '03 and not Nov'02? If you have only 31k on in in two years....then that would be grand. Otherwise if you have 31k on it in a year; then I could see why you would want to begin to curve the mileage downward.

I'm giving it a rest this week...I'm driving my Supra for a while.

Just passed the 8,000 mile mark. 2,000 of those were from a road trip recently taken. CEL keeps coming on in my Accord, so we're driving the 4runner on all out of town trips. I may have have 20,000 miles on this thing by the end of year 1.

Take the Accord to Autozone and they will scan it for free and tell you what the problem is.
