4th Gen + iPod Touch 2G

I am looking at picking up a 2nd Gen Touch. How well do these interface with the built in iPod interface in the 4th Gen T4R's? What cables/accessories do I need to get them interfaced?

What are you currently using to connect your ipod? I recently changed my HU from an '05 JBL to the '06 or '07 JBL HU....I'm not sure which since the guy will not respond to my emails. I want to connect my ipod and iphone (to play pandora or last.fm) and am looking for alternatives to the headphone port solution.

I picked up a Monster audio cable last week at Target. Running it from the iPod to the AUX input in the center console. So far so good!

I bought some set up from Best Buy made by Belkin I think that works reasonably well. It charges the iPod while playing - nice for longer trips - but it still does not allow for use of the hands free setup on the steering wheel which would be nice so I don't have to take my eyes off the road.

A simple two male-ended cable will work directly from the iPod into the Aux port as well.
