4th Gen No Headlight Chime?

Hello all,

I just noticed today on my 2003 SE V8 that when the headlights are on and I open the door there is no audio chime! Does the 4runner have an auto shutoff features? On a side note I had an autostart installed, perhaps they bypassed the chimes or maybe our vechiles just don't chime at all?

No chime, they just shut off 30 seconds after you pull out the key. or hit the lock button twice.
