My dad gave me his '92 4Runner when I turned 16, it was a fantastic first car. Great for a guy in high school, plus women love a man in a 4Runner!

Ditto, I got my dad's '94 when I was 16 and drove it for 11 years up until last month. Now I drive a 4th gen. :thumb3:

Congrats on the T4! I wish I had the made a wise choice like that for my first car. Best car advice that my dad gave me: Learn to do your own maintenance on anything not requiring special tools that only shops can afford, and you will learn a ton and save $$$$$. Change ALL of the fluids regularly, keep up with the regular recommended maintenance, and you will probably push your new ride into the 400k club like a few members have here. I hope to make it there one day too!
