I believe he's being sarcastic, California is ridiculous about their laws. We're strict on relatively stupid things and then lax on others that would logically be more important.

I feel bad for the theft victim, hit and run victims, and especially for the mother at the end of the video that was about to get hijacked with her baby in the back!!! poor woman, I would kill someone if they'd try something like that on my wife and child!!!

But I have to give it to him, GREAT DRIVING!!! he drove like a bat out of hell! If he wouldn't have ran out of gas, who knows how much longer he would have got away from the lapd.

Either way, I'm glad nobody was seriously hurt and that animal was apprehended. Good driving tho :lookout:
