This is the rack that was removed from my 2003 V8 after I received a rebuilt rack from the Rack Doctor. If you need a core rack in order to reduce downtime, this will be a good way to have your rack rebuilt. I'm also including the shipping packages that was used to ship my rebuilt rack from the Rack Doctor.
I believe this will fit either the V6 or the V8 vehicles, 4x4 or 4x2 but please do your own confirmation when it comes to parts interchange. I happen to send in a 4x2 rack for rebuilding and I installed it in my 4x4 rig. The rack in the picture is from my 4x4 rig and exhibited no leaks or noises of any kind but it does have 375, XXX miles. I did this fun project as a matter of PM as the PS hoses were rock hard. I had a local hydraulic hose shop braze a new high pressure hose while re-using the OEM threaded ends.
In order to remove the rack out of the vehicle, the driver side inner tie rod has to be removed. That's why that inner tie rod boot doesn't have a clamp on either end.
I'm asking $75+shipping if you're not local.
