Does anyone know who still makes these? I have talked to gaterose and unfortunately he does not. I have a 2005 and want the 2006 and up grill and I have heard it's not an easy task. I will gladly pay for quality work. thank you

I've thought about doing some but just don't have the time at the moment.

With that said, if I can do it, you surely can. Not saying it's easy - though the "flush" style is much more so - but it can be done in a weekend with some prep and basic skills.

They really are pretty easy to make. BlueSky did the "deep dish" type and I've done a few of the "3D" type. I have a walk through in my signature below.
You can save costs by using your own grille, where others will purchase a test one just in case they mess up. The biggest cost is color matching the grille (if needed) and the emblem.
I color matched both my black and white 4Runner and purchased the Fj40 emblem.

I just realized you said you have an 05 - [MENTION=50591]gaterose[/MENTION] is your go to for that. He's got a write up for the 05. Not as easy as our 06-09s.

Gaterose said he is no longer doing them but I have a Friend that's going to take it on and will post the results when finished. Should be a few weeks. 05 is the problem if mine was an 06-09 I'd have no problem trying it myself. Thanks for the help.
