4th Gen Sway Bar Material?

Anyone happen to know what steel Toyota uses for our Sway Bars?

A lot of websites and such are stating SAE 4140 is the standard for most commercial sway bars... Currie like to use 4130 Hardened steel (which is what I'm leaning towards.)

I'm sure its the cheapest steel they could get that would last 150k+ miles. We'd have to find out if the commercial grade is used in pass. vehicles. Like our tools, anything hardened or forged is going to be stronger, but the question is, is it worth it?

And to be honest, unless it was in an accident, I can't remember the last time I saw any Toyota (esp the trucks) with a broken swaybar.

What's the cost?
