Has anyone seen a 4th gen with a snorkel exhaust or know of any builds with one? I was interested in it, but I don't want anything of an eyesore on mine. So feel free to post pictures or links to threads here. Thanks!

here's one option for the intake, haven't seen anything for the exhaust. typically if in water as long as you keep your rpm's above idle the exhaust is fine. problems occur if the truck shuts off while in the water.

ARB doesn't make one? 
I'm pretty sure they make one for the 2nd gen Taco, I'm not sure why that wouldn't work but I haven't looked at the interior of the engine compartment on a Taco.
I think I've seen pics of a 4th gen with a snorkel.

yeah ARB makes a safari snorkel setup, I believe its for the Taco but it works for the 4runner as well

this guy runs it, The OP just mentioned not looking for an eye sore so i assumed he wasn't interested in that setup

Will that fit in the panel? That pipe seems to come out a bit far, and I can't seem to tell where the intake's actually taking in air. Also, could I run a conic air filter at the end of that? It'd be cheaper than a cold air intake, and it definately seems far enough from the engine to stay cool.
I hadn't seen those, but aha just showed themARB doesn't make one?

the pipe fits inside the finder just fine, it's pulling air out of the cabin just behind the ECU under the glove box, the pipe hooks up to the existing intake box under the hood utilizing the factory air filter or aftermarket filter you have installed.
the arb utilizes the factory air box as well. hope this helps

I know it utilizes the factory air box, but what my question is, is if I can take that out, and run a conic filter at the end, so I can get it away from the heat, and just run some metal piping in place of the air box.
