4th gen wheels on 3rd gen

Will the 17" Limited wheels w/ oem tires (265/65R17) off of a 4th gen fit on a 3rd gen without any problems??? got any pics?

I felt the same way when I first put on the FJ wheels, but I kept them because they give the truck a wider stance (1 to 1.5 inches wider i think) and a 1 inch lift (bigger tires). Now that i've had them on for a few weeks they have grown on me and I would't go back.

Here you go http://www.yotatech.com/showthread.php?t=100713 I posted this a while back on the yotatech board. Since then I have done the Tundra swap with the 231mm calipers and akebono pads. No problems. Scroll down to see some daytime shots. Still need to get the centercaps but they are $200 at the dealer, I'll check ebay later.

yea they will fit, TRD did it before his 4runner was totaled. His pics should be on his for sale thread in classifieds where he was parting it out.

i was thinking about running some FJ wheels on my 3rd gen, but decided against it when i realized i'll be losing a whole lot of hp and gas milege.

These are the 17" rims off of a Sport Edition and they bolted right up to my 97. No rubbing, no problems. And they look great in my opinion.

i thought it looke great until broncosi mentioned the pathfinder, now i can't get it out of my mind. speaking of which i read somewhere that there's gonna be a v8 for the crapfinder.
Anyways...i'll try to post some pics when i get these on my bro's 3rd gen, which won't be for a while

WOW! Those rims look fantastic! I am debating buying the exact same set from a friend of mine and was wondering what size tire you have there. Do you think a 265/75/17 would fit on a stock 99 sport with the exact same rims?
