Tires are 285/75/16 Mickey Thompson ATZ's. Suspension is stock FJC front and rear shocks and coils with your basic spacer lift. Suspension is temporary as my front tires rub even after some trimming and pushing the fender liner forward.

Looks good with the smaller brake system, are these rims oonly lighter than stock?

I believe these wheels are about 6 pounds lighter than stock. They weigh in at 19 pounds a peice.

Still good even with new tire and wheel combo, it looks equivalent to stock wheels with new tires. Wish I have some lighter wheels myself, my combo makes it about 95 a corner.

Some fourth gens came with 16s... also, lighter weight, more sidewall

Didn't all of the SR5's come with 16's? I know the Limited and SE have bigger brakes and use 17's, and some of the later limiteds had 18's, but I thought 16s were standard for most of the 03-09 model years?
FWIW my '07 SR5 came from the factory with 16's.
To the OP: Those are some nice looking wheels. Simple and elegant, not gaudy or trendy. Love the color, too. My factory alloys are BOR-ING! That's one reason I put the FJC Steelies on there but if I was looking for aftermarket alloy rims, I'd want something like that.
Gulf states SR5's came with the 5 spoke 17" wheels that you would find on a limited rather than the 16's it comes equipped with in other areas.
I bought a new 04 SR5 back in the day and the dealer explained that gulf states decided it would be a better wheel to go with across the board.

My previous wheel was the 16" 1st gen Tundra 5 star. My 4Runner came stock with the 17's but as hearno says I wanted a lighter weighted rim with more sidewall.

I like the look of the FJ steelies, very utilitarian. The only issue there is weight. Some may say it's negligible but if it makes me feel better about it, then why not. As far as aftermarket wheels go, these are extremely affordable and very easy on the eyes.
I may have to get some Stealth 6 wheels from SCS for my wife's 05' limited sooner than later.
Well that is really weird because I don't think I've ever seen a 4gen T4R with factory 16" wheels? All I've ever seen is 17" wheels (or 18" on some models) including my '06 SR5 that came with from the factory w/17" wheels (and I'm no where near the Gulf)

I believe you. Its just based on what I've seen locally and what I seen on this site, I thought all gen4's had 17" or 18" wheels? Apparently I was wrong (not the first time :doh
