4thGen Q: Side impact bag locations?

In my 4th generation 4runner and I have side impact airbags. I see a tag on the side of my seat (backrest portion) mentioning the airbags.... My question is.... Is the bag in the the physical seatback?
reason why I ask; I want to put in a different seat but do not want to lose the safety feature.

Yes, the side airbag is part of the seat. The seam with the tag will blow open when the airbag deploys.

The side curtain airbags also come out of the trim around the doorframe along the headliner.
