4WD emblem - limited

do the 2006 4WD limited editions have a 4wd emblem on the passenger side of the vehicle, after the word limited, or does it just say limited?

I own a Sport Edition, but a good friend of mine own a Limited, and it definitely has a 4WD emblem on both sides!

Saw an '06/'07 this morning at the toll plaza. The badge said "LIMITED 4WD". I wonder though how many unaware people would actually mistake it for meaning a limited 4wd system. Kind of a misnomer on Toyota's part. Why not "Limited Edition 4WD". Too long perhaps. "Sport Edition 4WD" is long enough I guess. Don't mind me, just wondering out loud.

Mine says 'Limited 4WD' on both sides. If the 4WD is missing, it's a RWD 4Runner for US models. It was discussed in one thread, removing just the 4WD emblems would leave the letters unevenly spaced from the fender, since 4WD comes after the trim emblem. Canadian 4Runners are all 4WD and don't have the 4WD badging.

You guys are absolutly correct, Limited 4WD on both doors. I don't think I ever really took a good look at the door emblems. I've always fixated on the V8 emblems.

apparently the canadian trucks do not have the 4wd emblem on either side - is there a canuck that could verify this?

a canadian friend of mine just picked up a limited '06 v8 4wd, the first thing that i noticed was that it did not have the emblem - just trying to get to the bottom of it.

And another thing, I hate the fact that so many car companies use "limited". These days, with mass production nothing is limited anymore, and I just can't stand seeing some low end car marked "limited" beside me in traffic. Still, I choose not to debadge.
