Has anyone done or seen a 4WD retrofit done on a 4th Gen.? I'm just wondering if I can do it. I was wondering about the electronic 4WD selector. Would I have to change the ECU as well or do you guys think I could just power the stock selector through an aftermarket relay? I tried the search option but could find anything on it.....just a whole bunch of "what have you done lately" threads and "spotted" threads. Any help with this would be great. thanks in advance all.

Most agree this is an expensive, time consuming and illogical way to achieve 4wd. You can do it, but you would spend way less time if you just trade for a 4wd and swap your current mods over.
