4WD selector switch light up?

Is there anybody know if the 4WD selector switch of 2012 4runner limited should light up when you turn on the light of dashboard? I am wondering......

Nope.

My 2010 Limited does not. (except for the indicator in your dash when you turn on 4Hi or 4Low.

Did you find the owners manual yet? It's usually in the glove box,loads of good tips in there, then there is the search box in the top right of this page....Good stuff.

In the owner's manual, it did not mention that switch should light up or not, it just mentioned some 4WD indicators should light up or turn off on the panel.

And also decides to covert his SR5 t-case shifter to a limited knob selector....

Heck while he's at it he might as well relocate that knob into the dash. There's a thread on that somewhere too.

I have to replace the bulb for the rear window down switch and noticed that my 4WD switch is out and wasn't sure if that was suppose to be lit or not. I looked at the schematics and there is a bulb for the 4WD selector. I have a 2005 Sport Edition.
