4WD Shaking when Braking 3rd gen

I haven't had much experience with driving in 4WD. I usually just turn it on for the hell of it when I'm turning around in my back yard.

But tonight, I was driving down a gravel road and was all over the place, so I turned it on and was fine. But when I came up to a stop sign, there was kind of a clunking and shaking when I got down to about 5 - 10 mph. Once I got below that, it was fine all the way to full stop. It happened again at the next stop sign too, but didn't happen after turning 4WD off.

Am I doing something wrong? Or does it seem like it could be an issue?

Thanks

What year? That makes a big difference... If a 2010 is it a Limited model?

Perhaps just a little driveline binding. If you're on gravel I wouldn't worry about it but, as you know, don't drive it in 4wd on dry pavement as the tires can't slip enough to relieve the binding.
