4Wheelparts.com Review

FYI- last week I asked if anyone had an opinion on 4WP.com and wheels that I wanted to buy. The T4R forum response was positive overall which is was not what I found out when I searched via Google. Truthfully the web response was ugly but the reality is that angry customers are more vocal than happy ones. That is the main reason I am writing this.
I bought ATX Ledge wheels via 4WP on Friday 5/13. They had the best price, they could get the wheels and they were very pleasant and professional. They followed up with an order/delivery confirmation via e-mail. According to 3-4 other retailers, the wheels would not be available until June or July. I was told it would be approximately 10 days for delivery but they came in 7. The wheels were in perfect condition less three hub center bolts which was annoying but not a big deal. I would recommend them and will not hesitate to use them in the future. Let me know if you have any questions or comments. Jeff

NOTE: this forum has been VERY helpful regarding questions and general information on every aspect of my 4Runner. It is very much appreciated.

Wow, you had me wondering there. For the first few lines I thought you had a bad experience. I just placed an order with them yesterday, we'll see how it goes. Feedback here has been all good for the most part.

I just bought an ARB X-jack from them. Best price I could find and customer service was superb, so I'd highly recommend them too. Just know in advance that they'll only ship to your credit card's billing address and you shouldn't even need to speak with them!

In Store it is hit and miss. There are people who work at my local store who are really cool and helpful. With other employes they don't care because I don't drive a Heep.

yea really depends on the store. The one i went to in san jose over torqued all my lugs and stripped 10 wheel studs! They told me one stud was hosed but that it was safe to drive on, didnt follow up on my calls trying to schedule a time to fix it. They finally fixed them when i pressed the issue after my wheel almost fell off on my way home from work. i called them from toyota told them what happened and they actually asked me to drive it down there. they did fix it and cover the bill from toyota, but ill never be going back there for anything.
