4x4 high not working....HELP!

MY 4x4 high is not working the light on the dash blinks twice and nothing happens. but when i put it in 4x4 low I feel it go right in. does anyone know what this could be? (1991 t4r 3.0L automatic)

OK, how do you know it's not working in high but is in low (feeling the gear reduction of low range doesn't mean you're in 4WD).

Have you put the truck up on jack stands to actually see the front wheels are not turning ?

If so, is the front drive shaft turning?

Does the truck have manual hubs, auto hubs, or ADD?

Give more info if possible.

I never thought of that, but it has auto hubs, I feel it engage, but im not sure if the wheels turn. I will get it up in the air sometime this week and let you know
