4x4 light came on after radio install

I just installed a Scion head unit in my 2004 4Runner and afterward the 4 wheel drive indicator light is on in the dash.

I doublechecked the connector and it is properly seated. I also removed the negative lead from the battery to try to clear any computer codes. However, the light is still on.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Can you switch to the different modes? Maybe it is just confused which mode it is in so if you switch to say 4WD and then back to 2WD it'll figure itself out?

I tried changing the modes, but it didn't make a difference. Is it possible that the computer needs to reset itself?

I am not absolutely sure that the vehicle actually goes in to 4WD either. I plan to test this later today if I can find an empty parking lot to turn tight circles in...
