4x4 trip ends with a bent door.

So, I was out 4x4ing, really one of the first times I have taken my truck out to some sort of serious woods, it was great had a great time, but I was coming down a steep hill that was covered in snow and I lost control on hill as it was very narrow and icy, my truck tipped passenger side into a tree.
I was able to get out with the help of my buddy and his winch, but I put a big dent in my passenger side door, hahaah,
It gives it character.
Does anyone think I could take apart the door and push it out or bang it out with a rubber hammer ?

Without having a picture of the dent, it is hard to say. If it is in the center of the door you could even try a plunger or a suction cup. If you bang it out be sure to have something on the other side to support the metal. Think of the way the dent was made and reverse the process. Start on the edges and work your way towards the bottom of the dent rather than hitting the deepest part first.

Yeah I looked up some home made ways of removing them, but I really dont want to make it worse, which is what really usually happens, I dont want to experiment on my beloved 4 runner

There is some mobile company that does paintless on vehicle dent removal for about 150$ for the size of my dent.
I think I'll have to pay up to get it done right, so much for that flowmaster this cheque!
