Hey guys, I'm posting this for a buddy that I have to help out this weekend.
During the install of a a new headunit in his 1996 4runner, when it came to the part of removing the 4x4 shifter nob, it seems that he managed to snap the two wires that were connected to switch on the nob.
Any idea of how we can fix this? I'm not sure if it is as simply as hooking up the two wires back to the other end of the wires coming from the nob (by soldering), or what.
Any advice would be appreciated.
